We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to strengthen our team in Finland.

Job description

You are responsible for managing customer projects for fully automated roof truss manufacturing lines. We expect you to have good skills in terms of project scheduling, quality issues and economy. You work closely with customers, sales and design. You can read CAD drawings and as a Project manager role, you are involving in the commissioning and training of Trussmatic lines. You will be supported by our knowledgeable organization. Ability to work together in teams and project management skills play a vital role in this position. You are a goal-oriented person, and face challenges with a positive attitude.

Work tasks

  • Delivering projects within agreed schedule, scope and budget
  • Managing communication between stakeholders
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Reporting progress both to customer and internally
  • Handling possible change requests and issues
  • Installation supervision on site

The person we are looking for has

  • Appropriate technical education (BSc or MSc)
  • Experience in delivering projects to international customers
  • Experience in successful projects management in an international Environment
  • Initiative and active working method
  • Co-operation skills and not afraid of hands-on work when needed
  • Flexibility and problem-solving abilities
  • IT skills, CAD preferable
  • Fluent in English and Finnish
  • Possibility to travel

  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Location preferably in Lahti/Finland. Other offices locate in Tampere and Oulu
  • Work includes travelling 30 – 60 days a year to ongoing projects mainly in North America and Europe
  • Salary level: 3 500 – 4 500 € monthly
